Questions

How do I download a Facebook video's cover image?

Paste the video, Watch or Reel link and press the button. We read the cover Facebook itself uses for that video, at the resolution it publishes — often 1920x1080 and sometimes 4K — and save a copy so the link does not expire.

Can I download covers for every video on a Facebook Page?

Yes. Switch to the "Whole Page" tab and paste the Page URL or just its name. We walk its Videos and Reels tabs, collect the video links, and fetch each cover into one ZIP.

Can I get just the best-performing videos' covers?

Yes, and this is the useful part: Facebook prints a view count on each video page, so set the limit to 16, order by Most viewed and keep Top 3 to get the three best-performing covers out of that Page's last 16 videos.

Does it work on Facebook Reels and Watch links?

Yes — /reel/, /watch/?v=, /videos/ and fb.watch short links are all handled, and a Page's Reels tab is included when you bulk-fetch a Page.

Will it work on private groups or non-public videos?

No. Only publicly viewable videos can be read, which is the same thing you would see in a logged-out browser. Anything private, age-restricted or region-locked is reported as failed with the reason.

How many can I do at once?

Up to 100 pasted links, or up to 200 videos from one Page, per run.

Why does a Page run take a minute or two?

Because we pace it deliberately. Reading a Page means driving a real browser through its tabs, and bursting through that is exactly what gets an IP blocked part-way through. We would rather take ninety seconds and finish than take ten and stop at video three.

Can I reuse the covers I download?

They are the uploader's copyrighted images. Research, analysis, mockups and internal reference are ordinary uses; republishing one as your own is not.
