Questions
How do I download the cover image of an Instagram Reel?
Paste the Reel URL and press the button. We read the post's own cover image at the resolution Instagram publishes it, save a copy on our side so the link does not expire, and give you a direct download plus a ZIP.
Can I download covers for several Reels at once?
Yes — paste up to 100 links, one per line. Each one is fetched independently, so a private or deleted post is reported on its own line and never cancels the rest of the run.
Can I do a whole profile at once?
Paste the post and Reel links you want — up to 100 at a time, one per line. That is the reliable way to do a batch, and it runs the same whether you give it two links or a hundred.
Does it work on carousels, photo posts and IGTV?
Yes. Anything with a /p/, /reel/, /reels/ or /tv/ link has a cover image, and that is what comes back. For a carousel you get the first card, which is the cover Instagram itself displays.
Do I get the caption and engagement numbers too?
Yes. Each cover arrives with the caption, the author handle, the like and comment counts and the upload date where Instagram publishes them — and you can export all of it as CSV.
Will the download links stop working?
Instagram's own CDN links are signed and expire within hours. That is why we save a copy server-side and point the gallery at ours, so the page still works tomorrow.
Is downloading Instagram covers allowed?
A cover is the creator's copyrighted image. Saving public covers for research, moodboards, competitive analysis and reference is ordinary practice; republishing one as your own is not. Credit the creator.
Why did one of my links fail?
Almost always because the post is private, deleted, age-restricted or region-locked. The exact reason is printed next to the link that failed.
